POSITION: Regional US Business Director
LOCATION: San Jose, CA
OVERVIEW:
- In charge of annual sales goals and all communications with customers
- Establish and maintain efficient and good communication and relationships with customers in order to satisfy customer requirements and enable CLIENT to meet its sales goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all sales and marketing information as an interface to customers and act as customer representative.
- Create annual regional sales plan, and direct the work of the business support manager and engineer.
- Communicate with customers on orders & forecasts, Confirm order/forecast with customers according to the results of PPM.
- Research foundry market and make product price proposals.
- Report the technical and commercial feasibility of potential products.
- Negotiate new contracts.
- Champion the process transfer project till qualification and production.
- Receive information from customs and distribute the information to relevant personnel within the company. Maintain daily communication with customers on all customer service/Logistics related issues, and coordinate internally in order to answer any inquires from customs and to meet customers’ requirements.
- Customer order management. Input the orders into the ERP system.
- Calculate and input sales discounts, commissions and mask costs, etc. according to contracts/agreements.
- Follow up with the status of the execution of customer orders/payments and inform the related people in OP, FA and SM Dept., to ensure “on time” wafer start, delivery and effecting payment.
- Follow up with the satisfaction of customer concerns and complaints.
- Responsible for rendering good service to customers.
- Any other work assigned by HQ.
DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY
- Allocate capacity when capacity is tight.
- Recommend price scheme.
- Request the support of Operations and Failure Analysis Department as needed.
EDUCATION AND JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- University graduate or above.
- More than 5 years work experience in semiconductor industry and more than 3 years in marketing area. At least 2 years engineering background.
- Familiar with ERP, strong computer skills.
- Good command in English.
- Exhibit coordinating and management ability.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin and English.
