CLIENT COMPANY manufactures, markets and services semiconductor processing equipment used in the fabrication of integrated circuits (IC), focusing on growing Greater China and Asia semiconductor industry. The Company plans to do an IPO in 2009.

COMPANY’S chip manufacturing equipment is currently qualifying at fabs in Japan, Taiwan, Korea and PR China and has been given high marks.
Position: Director, CVD Technology
Responsibilities:
Lead the process development team to:
- Actively work with Beta site customers and drive for production qualification and penetration
- Develop new thermal CVD processes on HPCVD hardware and release new products or applications ot meet market requirements.
- Use designed experiments and advanced data analysis techniques to demonstrate process feasibility and system productivity
- Generate internal documentation for products, presentations and technical reports
- Resolve process engineering issues
- Work with the engineering and center platform groups and provide detailed feedback on the process results to guide their development efforts.
Requirements:
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or similar technical discipline is required
- Several years management experience
- Experience with thin film deposition using HDP, CVD or SACVD is a plus.
COMPENSATION:
Ideal candidates come from North America. Will pay
- Total Compensation equal or exceeding present North American compensation:
- Base -- Will structure salary payment in China in such a way that net take-home pay should be the same as candidate is presently receiving in base in the US.
- Stock options. The real attraction is a sizeable offer of stock options to the right candidate, with the company planning to IPO in 18 months. There is a real possibility that this company will become a billion dollar company within a few years...
- Will relocate candidate from the US.
