# 917 RF Plasma Expert
Client company was established by seven US executives, technologists and engineers. The company business is the development of core silicon thin film PECVD equipment and a secondary goal of developing silicon thin film modules. The company is venture-funded by several Shanghai venture firms. The firm’s headquarters are in Shanghai.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a 4-year degree in a technical discipline required (Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering) An advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a related discipline is highly preferred.
- Specific knowledge in thin film and equipment design and development.
- Strong background in principles of DC to VHF, microwave, electromagnetic field, analog and digital electrical signals.
- Prefer strong knowledge in principles of low temperature plasma discharges especially PECVD.
- Strong engineering experience in hands-on design, manufacture, trouble-shorting and reliability testing of plasma source/RF system for semiconductor plasma process reactors.
- Prefer engineering experience in plasma diagnostics for semiconductor plasma discharge reactor.
- Large area plasma source design, particularly for microcrystalline Si PV application is PLUS
- Strong RF trouble shooting skill
- Good English communication skill is required.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team to:
- Develop large area plasma source for PECVD thin film application
- Actively work with technology group to develop PECVD tool meeting the process requirements: uniform deposition with enhanced deposition rate.
- Closely working with RF generator vendors and mechanical engineers to develop reliable and cost effective RF system
- Use designed experiments and advanced data analysis techniques to demonstrate process feasibility and system productivity
- Generate internal documentation for products, presentations and technical reports
Trouble shooting for all RF related issues
Source: Client will relocate selected candidate from US, Japan, EU or Korea.

- Base -- Will structure salary payment in China in such a way that net take-home pay should be the same as candidate is presently receiving in base in their current location
